Right, left, human, transhuman

The issue of 'rights' -from gender identity to the uterus for rent- is not complementary or on the sidelines, but outlines the horizon towards which we move. But the post-human perspective pursued by progressives is not unique and inescapable. The alternative exists: a female-rooted civilisation

Resubmitting the Zan ddl, in the Senate with very little chance of passage -when other solutions, such as the Scalfarotto bill, would have ensured a law against homobitransfobia-. PD Secretary Letta has repeatedly emphasised that the issue of rights is decisive for his party.

Rights theme that is nevertheless always placed as a complementary, side of issues considered far more important: the war, of course, economic issues, but also simply electoral law.

In truth, most of the political game today is played on what are called 'rights'.

True, the womb for rent or the hormonisation of children or free gender identity are issues that would seem to concern only a minority of the population. But today, 33 years after the end of the Cold War, it is precisely these issues that delineate the horizon in the direction of which one moves - or differently, which one resists.

These themes outline what we call post-human or transhuman horizon, who thinks of natural humanity as archaic and surmountable. What technologies allow one to do becomes immediately licit and desirable. The human no longer constitutes a model for machines; on the contrary, it is machines that are models for human corporeality, right from the moment of reproduction.

The same progressive political camp that advocates the preservation of nature and the environment thus promotes the disempowerment of the mother and the denaturing of the human.

The transhuman horizon is presented as inescapable destiny, but this is not the case.

Ivan Illichfather of contemporary ecologism, in Gender. For a historical critique of equality- prophesied that things might end up this way, explaining that the disappearance of sex in the direction of the neutral "is the decisive condition for the rise of capitalism and a way of life that depends on industrially produced goods'. e "degrades women (...) even more than men'. why 'the common language of the industrial age is simultaneously neutral and sexist', and concluded by stating that "negative growth is necessary to reduce sexism'.

Struggle against unregulated capitalism and fight for women's freedom, resistance to neutralisation and opposition to mercatism thus shape a single goal that could be called 'survival of the human world'. Because, Illich further explains, "the fight against sexism coincides with efforts to reduce the destruction of the environment and attempts to challenge the radical monopoly of goods and services over needs'..

Claiming that the body exists, let it think and speak, is an inescapable preliminary step against the encroachment of patriarchy.

Resisting being women is the first move in this non-violent struggle.

The alternative to the transhuman model is female-rooted civilisation no longer based on the individual and his rights, but keeps the relationship at the centre understood as an indivisible social atom. In this key, for example, it would be important to think of a right whose subject is the relationship, and no longer the individual: a huge and revolutionary task.

This is the direction in which we want to move, understanding these issues - which cannot be avoided, as is often the case, because they are considered 'divisive' - as ultra-political: most of the game is played there.

The transhuman model presents itself as unique, inescapable and invincible: it is not.

It may be bitter to realise, many of us coming from a left-wing background, that the transhuman model is pursued and propagated by the very progressives and liberals throughout the democratic West. But there are too many things to be bitter about.

Norwegian feminist faces 3 years in prison for saying a man cannot be a mother
Christine Ellington, WDI's Norway contact person, investigated by the police for hate crime against a certain Jentoft who says she is a 'lesbian'. And whom she denounced, with the support of Amnesty International. Today, calling oneself a woman is possible for everyone. Except for women
While Netflix is under transactivist attack for broadcasting actor Ricky Gervais' stand-up, which dared to make fun of 'women with penises', there is much less joking in Norway. Christina Ellington, a representative of WDI (Women's Declaration International) is being investigated by the police and faces 3 years in jail for tweeting that males cannot be lesbians and for saying on TV to a male Jentoft, who identifies as a lesbian woman: 'You are a man. You can't be [...]

US Congress promotes a Women's Bill of Rights inspired by feminist texts
To be able to call themselves women, not to be reduced to 'menstruators' or 'holes in the front', to have their own reserved spaces: the American Republicans take on the resistance of feminism against woke progressivism and propose a law of historic significance. Women's associations, from WoLF to WDI, approve. But dividing them remains the issue of abortion, with the Supreme Court ruling in the home stretch.
While the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), America's largest civil rights association, is campaigning to argue that barring male sex offenders from women's prisons is discriminatory and unconstitutional, on 19 May, a group of Republican representatives in the US Congress, first signatory Debbie Lesko, introduced a resolution to introduce a Women's Bill of Rights, in order to legally define what a 'woman' is, recognise that women and [...]

Milan introduces gender self-certification
All it will take is a 'solemn' declaration to be able to choose what sex you are -female, male or neither- without any medical acts, expert opinions or judgments, and to adopt the 'alias' identity in various municipal services, including electoral rolls. In fact self-id, a huge change introduced by a simple administrative act and without any public debate. But it is all to be assessed whether the law allows it
So in Milan, self-id was introduced: it means being able to decide whether you are male, female - or neither - in total freedom, without expert opinions, sentences, witnesses - as the national law provides for: nothing of the sort, a simple bureaucratic step and it's done. In Great Britain, after years of public debate, self-id was shelved: the overwhelming majority of the population was against it. In Milan, without any debate, as if citizenship did not exist, as if laws did not exist, and [...]

Kathleen Stock: 5 tips to keep transactivist troublemakers quiet
The lecturer forced to resign for saying that biological sex exists explains how to deal with harassing transactivism: just like a mother dealing with a wayward child or rebellious teenager. An ironic guide to saving your life
Philosopher Kathleen Stock became known outside academic circles after she was forced to resign from her professorship at the University of Sussex with threats and defamation by transactivists for expressing critical views on gender identity (see here). While similar cases are happening all over the world, including Italy and Europe (see here and here), in Anglo-Saxon countries lecturers are organising themselves to fight against the censorship of gender-critical feminism. In the article we present Kathleen [...]

The bomb of hormones for children is exploding everywhere. But not in Italy
No longer tolerable is the Italian silence - what do parliamentarians do? - on gender nonconforming children treated with hormones. How long will we have to wait? In the meantime, the bubble is bursting everywhere, from Northern Europe to Australia to the United States, where people are starting to talk about puberty blockers as an unprecedented medical scandal.
The medicalisation of girls and boys who do not conform to gender stereotypes will be the next big medical scandal. While in Italy everything is still shrouded in an unbearable silence - how long will the health authorities be able to turn a blind eye - elsewhere the bubble is bursting. We have reported several times on the stop to the medical treatment of minors in countries that have been pioneers in introducing gender identity, such as Sweden, Finland and Australia. Today we update you on recent developments in the UK [...]

This is Georgia
Surrogacy, gender identity, motherhood: on many issues, the positions of the leader who now looks to the premiership coincide with those of feminism, snubbed by the left. What to do in the face of this challenge? Can the women's movement dialogue with the right?
Giorgia Meloni could become the first woman prime minister in our country. She no longer hides her ambition and if she knows how to do the right things by next spring - or rather, if she does not do the wrong things - and if she manages to escape the volleys of friendly fire, no less intense and insidious than enemy fire, she will be able to achieve her goal, having only herself to thank for the mistakes of her opponents: no one has co-opted her - see here - she has no master [...].
