Breast ironing is a horrible practice still in use in some regions of Africa, particularly in Cameroon. It involves the destruction of the breasts of adolescent girls by red-hot instruments -old irons, spatulas, stones or shells- and is generally practised by the adult women of the family. The purpose is to make the girls less attractive in order to save them from rape and early pregnancies that could tarnish the honour of the family group. Stonewall will face a court case for encouraging the law firm where Allison Bailey, a lesbian lawyer, works to issue a disciplinary measure against her just because she had criticised transgender activists. Kathleen Stock, the philosophy lecturer at the centre of a controversy over her views on gender identification and transgender rights, has announced her resignation from the University of Sussex. Stock's resignation comes three weeks after a protest by some students on the university's Brighton campus, which included posters and graffiti calling for her dismissal. In British and American academia, the deplatforming (gagging) imposed on teachers critical of free gender identity (self-id) is a well-established phenomenon (we have reported on it several times, see here and here). The English Court of Appeal has partially overturned the judgement that had given right to the young detransitioner Keira Bell (here is her story) against the Tavistock Clinic that, when she was 16 years old, had hastily introduced her to therapy with puberty blockers. The strategy of queer activism always orders silence. If politicians are discussing a bill to introduce gender self-determination, it is preferable that the media do not talk about it, and if they do talk about it, they have to say that the bill is only "against discrimination of LGBT people" and keep quiet about the rest. A ghost is roaming the world: gender identity, an intangible surrogate for the soul whereby anyone can decide which gender to belong to regardless of biological sex. For those who don't believe in the violence of queer transactivists: this video shows the brutal trans-square assault on Christophe Elston, a man from Vancouver (Canada) who has long been in the crosshairs of the ARF for his support of JK Rowling and his fight against puberty blockers for girls and boys. A poster made and put up by Elston, simply with the words "I love JK Rowlings", was vandalised and immediately covered up by Vancouver City Council billboard officers [...]

In Great Britain, despite the increase of domestic violence during the lockdown -one feminicide every 3 days, the same average as in Italy- two shelters for battered women were dismantled because they were not 'gender neutral' enough. Brighton City Council told Rise that despite 25 years of shelter and despite being trans-inclusive, it remains 'much more accessible to women'. A puppet with the mask of Carmen Calvo, socialist vice-premier of Spain, was found hanging from a tree in Plaza 8 de Marzo in Santiago de Compostela. On the puppet a sign: "I am lost...
