Fighting is needed.
The revolt of midwives and nurses foiled the English National Health Service's (NHS) plan to organise dedicated 'transgender maternity' services.
An advertisement had appeared on 16 December to recruit staff to manage the training of 'trans and non-binary people who give birth' in 40 NHS maternity services, an announcement that provoked an immediate reaction from women in the sector.
A group of about 300 nurses, midwives and psychologists wrote an open letter to Lizzie Streeter, head of the NHS national LGBT programme, warning that the project had 'no scientific basis' and put maternity wards 'at risk of ideological capture'. Coordinated by the group With WomanThe letter was also signed by 1,700 members of the public service.
Two days after the letter was sent, on 9 January, NHS England backtracked and informed that 'the contract has been withdrawn early' pending a review of its scientific basis by officials.
The project on transgender and non-binary motherhood was based on a research funded by the LGBT Foundation, association that last year dealt with controversial initiatives such as a campaign to promote 'LGBTQ+ sex toys' and the proposal to replace the terms nephew e niece (niece and nephew) with an invented term of neutral gender (niblings).
In the meantime in the USA, living uterus transplantation is being discussed at Pittsburg Children's Hospitalwomen who 'identify' as men and give up their wombs to men who 'identify' as women and wish to have 'female physiological experiences' such as pregnancy. The old patriarchal dream: to take the place of women. Today acted out by trans neo-patriarchs.
The disappearance of women in an alleged neutral and theglobal abolition of sex are at the centre of the public debate in Great Britain also for the announcement of the nominations of British Music Awards: the gender-neutral category replaced the male and female ones and the result is that only men were nominated as best artist.
The 2023 edition is the second in which the women's and men's categories have been abolished, and women are already completely excluded. The previous gender-neutral edition of the British Music Awards was instead won by Adelewho, in his thanks for the award, reiterated his pride in being a woman (see here) and was violently contested.
The disappearance of women in the male neuter was also seen in the talent X-Factor Italia in 2021, where 20 male and only 2 female contestants made it to the final (we told you about it here).
